Pour Over Coffee Filter
Guaranteed safe & secure checkout

A permanent pour over coffee filter that sits on top of your mug, travel thermos, or whatever you sip your coffee from.
It’s durable, convenient, and a great way to reduce our overall waste. Recycling and composting are great, but the best way to reduce waste is to not create it in the first place!
Rinse and reuse
The best part of the pour over filter is how incredibly simple it is to use. After letting your coffee drip through, simply tap your grounds out (with a single knock) and rinse under running water. Your filter is then ready to use again and again — it's seriously that easy!
How we brew
1 – If you're using whole coffee beans, first step is to grind to a medium, kind of beach sand size. If you are purchasing already ground beans from us choose the 'Plunger' option. Depending on taste, we find anywhere from 16-26g to work well.
2 – With the hinges folded out, place the filter over your cup. Pour your fresh coffee grounds into the filter.
3 – Add 250ml boiling water to coffee grounds — it's generally safe to fill up to the brim.
4 – Let it drip! The time this takes entirely depends on the fineness and how compressed your coffee is.
5 – You can add warmed or frothed milk to taste. This is your chance to get creative and make your coffee uniquely yours. Enjoy!

I love this. But like anther Pugster said, the drip process can take ages as the coffee plugs the drip. Either that or I got the wrong grind - could you remind me what the correct grind is?
Hi Rebecca, Thanks heaps for your feedback, we recommend a medium grind which from our website we call the Plunger grind. Also, make sure that the filter gets cleaned after use as it will just pour slower if old coffee grinds starts to build up in your filter :) I hope this helps, feel free to email us at info@thelaughingpug.com.au if you need any further help,
Cheers,
Elise
