 Are you ready to treat yourself and indulge in a guilt-free way with our Puggalicious Protein Balls? To make them, you’ll need: 

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of The Laughing Pug coffee either brewed then chilled or cold brew
  • 8 pieces or 200 grams of Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup of raw almonds
  • 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions:

1. Soak the dates in the brewed coffee for 15 minutes. Drain the dates but keep the coffee for later.

2. Add the soaked dates to a food processor and pulse for 2 minutes. Add 1 tablespoon of the brewed coffee at a time until the mixture becomes a thick paste.

3. Add the remaining ingredients to the food processor— almonds, cocoa powder, chia seeds, and sea salt - and pulse a few times until a dough-like mixture forms. Be careful not to blend for too long if you want a crunchy texture.

4. Use your hands to form the mixture into 1-inch balls. Refrigerate the balls in an airtight container for up to a week, or store them in a resealable freezer bag in the freezer for up to 3 months.
